“The skinny wooden handle on my vintage Wolf push pull weeder had rotted at the bottom (again). I leave it in the open too much and often forget where I left it. It was, by now, too short to be useful if I refitted it and having one of the fancy Wolf multi-change handles I decided to splash out on a multi-change head. Works fine - I 'suffer' waves of of forget-me-not seedlings having left the plants to seed and this tool makes a fine job of killing them without bending or using weedkiller. Strongly made, it will see me out.”
“My new Wolf push-pull weeder thingy
Is a wonder to behold
It goes from top to bottomy
And does precisely what its told
(with apologies to Winner, the Pooh, that is)”
“Only used once and although I’m having to remember I can straighten my back now, I’m finding it very effective.
I’ve never liked using a hoe so this is good for me”
“Having used these weeders for 50+ years I still do not know how they work (pulling roots out rather than cutting them off) but they do work and are just the most valuable tool for the garden.”
