“Variable results with dandelions. Usually cuts through root far too high, which allows new shoots to grow from remaining root. Sometimes I am able to extract about 3-4cm of root, which is about as good as it gets. Pretty sure plant will regrow from what is left in the ground. So ‘ok’ for temporarily removing the top part of the plant, but not a long term solution.
I can’t see how it could be used without the “D” handle - essential for the twisting leverage.”
