“It took me a few tries with this product to figure out exactly what my stubborn hair needs and I finally got there. Where it says on the box, cover all hair and don’t rub it in to apply, listen up. Use that little tool it comes with and FROST YOURSELF like you’re presenting it as a final in the Great British Bake Off. It needs to be liberally applied and evenly coated! Follow the instructions and it will leave you smoooooth.”
“Didn’t irritate anything, left it on for about twenty minutes on a pretty fierce looking bush, it is SO effective and totally comfortable! I am a convert!!”
“OMG What just happened?! I have struggled for years with harsh creams burning my skin and so stuck to shaving, which is difficult and awkward BUT then! WooWoo! Literally after 4 mins...it all came off! All of it!!! And my skin didn’t bat an eyelid!”
“I was so excited to try this out as I was sick of shaving and find waxing super painful. I had seen lots of ads for it and thought it just sounded too good to be true.... well I was right. The only thing I’ll give them is that shipping was fast. The product itself came in broken and torn packaging and the actual bottle was half empty. Seems to me like they put 50ml into the 100ml packaging and called it a bigger version because there was barely any product in there. I wish I could attach photos because as soon as I opened it I was immediately put off. The cream definitely had a scent, but it wasn’t as bad as other brands such as veet, probably because it doesn’t work. I applied the cream exactly as the instructions directed, wiped a test patch to see if it was ready to be wiped off. Not a single hair moved so I left it on for another minute as instructed and still not a single hair was out of place. I have very fine hair so I really didn’t think that this would happen. It was such a disappointment that after all that hype the product did absolutely nothing. Wish I could get my money back as this product isn’t worth the time of day.”
I am sorry the product arrived damaged, if you had emailed regarding this i would happily of sent a replacement out to you.
I’m sorry that Tame It! hasn't worked for you on this occasion. Tame It! has been extensively tested and is dermatalogically approved, and we’ve sold over 300,000 units of this product to date. The product needs to be applied liberally - perhaps a thicker application was needed? Could I suggest that if you have particularly stubborn hair, leaving Tame It! on for slightly longer, but no longer than six minutes. Some of our customers say that they needed to experiment on the first use to get used to timings and to see the length of hair that gives the best results. Our customers also suggest doing a test (wiping away the product on a small area at around 3 minutes to see if the hair is coming away) this gives an indication for how much longer you need to leave the product on. I would also suggest using a washcloth or loofah to remove Tame It! in circular motions, quite firmly!
“I was really excited to try this after reading the amazing reviews!
It didn’t smell too bad, and it came with a nice little spatula to apply.
I left it on for the required time and follows the directions, but unfortunately it didn’t work at all.
I tried it again a few weeks later and left it on for a bit longer, but still didn’t touch the hair at all.
I do have quite course hair, but hair removal cream does work a little bit so I was very surprised to see this didn’t do a thing.
Very disappointed :(”
“Got this on a whim and was seriously concerned I had p***ed a tenner up the wall. I was very wrong. All hair gone, was able to apply in areas I would NEVER have applied hair removal cream before and it does not smell like death. Complete convert, thank you! Turns out not all of these creams are made of battery acid, who knew? My skin isn't even red. Unreal.”
“After years of shaving and the struggles of ingrowing hairs, shave rash etc. I thought I'd found my solution! Was so excited to try this after reading so many may reviews. Patch test was fine after 48hrs. So went ahead and applied everywhere I'd usually shave. Little sting when it went on but after the time was up and I went to wash it off, oh my gosh! So so painful. Has left me with sore oozy chemical burns in my most sensitive areas. Also used underarms with similar sore effects. I don't have particularly sensitive skin or any allergies to any of the ingredients, as far as I'm aware. Honestly gutted and very sore. Back to the razor is it!”
