“Saw loads of positive reviews for this so thought I'd give it a try. I've used it three times to give it a fair chance and here's my thoughts:
1) I picked the 100ml tube for better value for money, but do think this is over-priced.
2) The smell is really overpowering and unpleasant (reminiscent of old school Nair for those who remember)
3) For me, it just can't replace traditional methods such as shaving, etc. Perhaps I have particularly stubborn hair but each time I used it (having followed the instructions to the letter), I was left with stubble so I had to go back in with my razor anyway. I would have thought a product like this would dissolve the hair follicle so that was particularly disappointing.
It's great to see so many people achieving good results but I personally won't be re-purchasing. Sorry!”
I’m sorry that Tame It! hasn't worked for you on this occasion. Tame It! has been extensively tested and is dermatologically approved, and we’ve sold over 300,000 units of this product to date. The product needs to be applied liberally - perhaps try a thicker application? Could I suggest that if you have particularly coarse or stubborn hair, leaving Tame It! on for slightly longer, but no longer than six minutes. Some of our customers say that they needed to experiment on the first use to get used to timings and to see the length of hair that gives the best results. Our customers also suggest doing a test (wiping away the product on a small area at around 3 minutes to see if the hair is coming away) this gives an indication for how much longer you need to leave the product on.I would also suggest using a washcloth or loofah to remove Tame It! in circular motions, quite firmly.
Please give our product another go trying the above.
“So I had read plenty of reviews across the internet! And I thought to myself this sounds way too good to be true... well ladies I can tell you now... I am beyond impressed!
I have literally just used the product for the first time and feel so excited about it I had to review straight away. Admittedly I’ve never used other hair removal products in fear of the burn but wow! I’m also no longer a fan of the old razor either due to skin sensitivity, rashes and all the other nasties!
I was still slightly cautious in case the burn came but I felt nothing! So next time I’ll be a little more slap happy with it. I left it on for around 4 mins but recon the full 6 would be ideal. Some of the coarser hair need it a little longer! But a little trial and error gets you everywhere! Eeeek! What an absolute game changer!

“Tried this cream for the first time, opposed to other creams that you leave for a maximum of 10 minutes this cream advises that you leave on for no longer than 3... so my assumption was that this cream was powerful. Following the specific instructions I was disappointed to see that the cream removed minimal hair? “Ok so I'm Indian... Indian women are hairy af lol so I let myself get untamed in lockdown so that means 2cm in hair growth down there! I'm sure you get my drift! I came across this product on the Superdrug website so I thought lets prove this wrong!
I tried it with my hands left it on for 6 minutes and the results are following:
so the under carriage came off clean including the bum area after 6 minutes, at the hood of the vagina there was a patch but that's understandable as that's where the course hair is at.
This is a very good product trust me! the only thing I will say to the company is they need to make this product 250ml at a larger scale. The spatula is useless the hand is a much better applicator and this in turn will save the company money in not having to produce the spatula.
I will never use a razor ever again.... Thank you”
