“The new Gloster Javelin model kit is another fantastic release from Airfix and even surpasses the recent Sea Vixen in detail. The kit is very nicely detailed, the panel lines are crisp and clear with no flash on the sprues. There are some nice touches such as positional flaps, FOD covers and crew ladder, cockpit also looks to be comprehensively detailed. The clear parts are, well actually, very clear with no discernible distortion. The instructions are well thought out and detailed and clearly show the options for the two variants that can be built. The decals are also very nicely printed and in register and give the options for 3 aircraft. All in all very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to start building. This will build up to be an excellent kit out of the box, definitely recommended”

“This is a nice little kit, though all Zvezda kits should say, 'Mostly push fit, a little glue required'. When finished, painted up, you have a small diorama in its own right. Good detail, good figures and excellent value for money.”
