“Have not started building the kit yet, but it looks really good in the box. Detailing is good. Panellines is not as fine as for example on a Hasegawa kit. More between a Trumpeter and a Italeri kit. The choice of subject is fantastic! The javelin is a big ugly 50:s jet. Just my cup of tea!”

“The fuss and wait for a 1/48 mainstream injection moulded Javelin was worth it! Arguably Airfix's best since the Lightning! Crisply moulded, with a wealth of detail and a clever breakdown of parts. Definately one to have.”

“I first got to know about the Gloster Javelin during my school days when my father said he would take me to school on his new Vespa. Instead he took me to London and I picked up the Gloster Javelin in 1.72 scale from FROG. Now I am 60 and went through the Wonderland Models website. It now brings back memories of my first kit but this is something bigger, 1.48 scale, and better. I do not know whether to build it this time or keep it as a treasured collectors model. I Just Love it”
