“This is a superb model. The plastic moulding is perfect,much better than most Airfix kits I have built. The attention to detail is first rate,especially the brass etched components for ladders, railings etc. A worthy tribute to this iconic vessel.”

“Firstly a recognition of the excellent service and speedy delivery of the product. On opening it I was extremely pleased with the quality of the tooling and the additional photo etched Parts. Comparing to other makes, Airfix, Revell and Tamiya I am very pleased with what Trumpeter have produced. All I need now is for a manufacturer to produce a Black Swan Class Frigate (HMS Amethyst), I would be confident Trumpeter could produce another quality product”

“The service was excellent, I ordered it on Saturday and it arrived Monday. Opening the box revealed a lot of pieces that will clearly take a long time to put together. Despite being my first 1/350 model ship, it is by no way my first model! The detail was excellent and for the price given here compared to other sites, you can't go wrong! The money you save on the model could be put towards railings or other upgrades. Highly recommended”
