The Tamiya X-20A 250ml Acrylic Thinner is suitable for use with the range of Tamiya Acrylic Paints and is water-soluble and non-toxic. Tamiya offer a great range of paints, glues and modelling accessories that are available both online and in store.
These acrylic paints are suitable to paint plastic model kits and come in three finishes, gloss, flat and translucent.
The Tamiya Acrylic Paint range can be brushed straight from the tub, or thinned to be used in an airbrush.

“I have been modelling aircraft of all sorts for over 30 years, yet I am a relative newcomer to airbrushing techniques. I have used an airbrush before, but it is an art unto itself and after talking to a friend he recommended using a thinning agent to obtain better results. So, being an advocate of Tamiya paints, I chose this one to get me going. At first it is trial and error, but with a little practice correct consistency can be easily achieved. There are other products out there (and I even have friends who use water!), but this is the one for me. Well worth the small outlay, and if properly used, will last a long time.”
