Brilliant little machine. Stable in the hover when trimmed out correctly. Solid body shell that can take punishment. Feed in forward stick and the mSR is off like a bullet. Very responsive to control input but reacts more rapidly in sideways flight to the left and pirouettes in the same direction. Maybe this is simply a question of trim when straight out if the box? This is a GREAT introduction for co-axial pilots to the world of CP machines. Beats simulators hands down and is good as an intro machine to the Blade 400.

This little machine is, in my opinion a cracker. Small, light and manoeuverable. It will zip along with ease once you have mastered the basics both indoors and outside (on a calm day.). Here are a few of my experiences to add to the plethora of information readily available. Battery life is good they are small and thus recharge time quick . (I would recommend getting a couple more spare batteries to add to the 2 you get in the kit. The charger after all can charge 4 at once.) Beginners – definitely get the training set . You wont need it long but will save on replacing the skids. Due to its lightness the skids will fail. I have found that heavy landings cause them to flex outwards causing breaks/shears in the upper front arm area. The arm area can be reinforced with some cotton thread and a dab of super glue to set the cotton( think figure 8 binding) . Also you can stop the flexing with a thin strip of cotton / tape between the skids. Spares are readily available and not expensive I would recommend the tail fin and skids as essential spares. Blades are durable and robust and so far for me have not needed replacing. Should you wish for finer control of the heli then I would go for a higher quality handset/transmitter. eg Dx5i, Dx6i.or any spektrum 2.4Ghz 4+channel compatible. All in all a great machine and good value fun.

I've had the MSR for about a month now. I've managed to fly into everything without any major problems! walls, ceilings, my TV, my wife - OUCH! even a pot of water and it survived (I almost cried) with only a few minor fixes.. As for value for money, its awesome! Parts are cheap too.. If you are a beginner I suggest buying the training gear. The skids break easily, so even if you are a great pilot, I would suggest investing in a few extras. Dont buy any of the glow in the dark parts, they are really brittle!! one crash and they are toast! Incredibly tough helicopter, difficult to fly but good for those who are wanting to get into 3D helis. Hope this helps!

Highly controllable. With a little practice can be flown throughout the house with ease. Has survived lots of crashes. For people looking for the next step up from picooz rc helis this is the one to get.

Truly excellent for anyone happy with the CX2, MCX or similar co-ax. Was soon able to buzz around small rooms (11 ft square) without any trouble. Charger is great - and with three or more batteries you can fly almost continuously. Landing skids are badly designed and destined to fall apart - so get some spares. So far that's the only damage after 3 weeks of intensive use. Really needs an indoor gym or sports hall to stretch its blades.

This is a brilliant little helicopter, easy to fly and very tough. It will stand up to the majority of the crashes you through at it as you learn and is nippy enough to always be fun to fly. Order extra batteries because this thing is addictive!

Totally amazing, powerful and responsive! But also great training 'low-rate' mode for pilots taking their first step into fixed-pitch heli's. Very easy to set up out of the box, and comes with everything you need. (Except to fly continuously. I guarantee you will want to! Buy 6 more batteries.) I would highly recommend this helicopter!
