“Fast and efficient. The model is a snap and good quality. If you don’t like the paint scheme change it up and change the transfers. Great airfix kit with lots of unused accessories on the sprues.”

“For £9.99 you get a decent 1/48 scale Mk Vb Spitfire. I haven't begun to build it yet but the level of detail looks good. I'm probably going to get some after market resin and metal parts as well as decals for another aircraft but I haven't committed yet and may change my mind simply because the air sea rescue version intrigues me. But yes, 5 stars for a good detailed kit for under a tenner.”

“This is an excellent & well detailed model of the Mk V Spitfire. A lot of cockpit detail, and although instructions & markings are for 2 less well known versions, there is a large number of alternative parts to make other versions including bombs, slipper fuel tank, Vokes tropical filter and an assortment of exhausts & canopies. Good to see a pilot figure included as well. Recommended.”
