Being a model ship builder & also restoring old model ships as a hobby I was very delighted when I purchased & received this model, after having a good look at it I can't wait to get started in building this model cruise ship for my collection of other liners & cruise ships I have she is going to look magnificent when finished. Anyone thinking of buying this particular model my recommendation is by all means a very nice looking model cruise ship to build & if your wondering who can offer you a great deal on this particular model I recommend you should try out this web-site www.wonderlandmodels.com this is where I purchased my model cruise ship & I got it at a great price & there service was excellent.

My overall examination of the kit is that Revell have surpassed its QM2 model. It is very detailed and a must have model. It even has decals for the lifeboats ie name of ship and port of registry. Sad to say this but the theatrium glass should be blue as far as the upper open decks then clear. A big oversight by Revell but with a bit of ingenuity this can easily be overcome. I hope that someone will produce photo edge railings this in my opinion will really do this model justice.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my father who is a semi-professional model builder, the model turned out to be much more detailed that i originally thought and was pleasantly surprised to see how well constructed it was. If you want a really cool model, in a large size, you can't go far wrong with this kit.

This is an excellent model, which I am halfway through building. The detailing could not be much better, and the parts fit well. I would point out that the instructions have to be followed EXACTLY in the assembly sequence in the book. I fitted the aft superstructure, and forgot to fit the windows beneath it, however I managed to fit them afterwards, but some parts are unreachable once the decks are on, so bear that in mind. The kit looks daunting at first on opening the box, but is straightforward, following each section in the book. Watch out for some of the tiny parts, I dropped one on the floor and it took an hour to find it! and there are no spares. Ian.
