The Hornby R638 Roll Of Underlay is a Hornby railway accessory. This accessory can be used in addition to any Hornby train set. Designed to fit the width of single track with indentations to fit the sleepers. Strip is flexible to follow any straight or curved track, and is easily cut to make junctions at points and cross-overs. Resilient foam underlay fits under track to simulate a full-size ballast track bed. It also damps out vibrations, so trains run more quietly and these is less chance of 'wheel bounce' to spoil performance. Cut the underlay to shape with scissors.
