The Milliput Standard Epoxy Putty is a very versatile model filler and sculpting putty. Milliputs drying time depends on the temperature, but at room temp it is hard in 3 to 4 hours. If you speed the process by applying heat the hardening time can be reduced to just a few minutes. After Milliput is set hard, it will continue to cure and is fully dry in around 8 hours. After this it can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted. Milliput can be sandpapered and painted immediately after it has set. (it is advisable to wear eye protection during this process).Milliput is an excellent adhesive and will bond any of the following to itself or to any of the others - wood, brick, cement, metals, concrete, plastics, glass etc, but note that Milliput is not intended as a thin layer adhesive and should not be used where a paste, mucilage or thin glue is indicated. “I don’t do much modelling these days, and the box of Milliput I’ve been using has quite a vintage to it now, so it was great to use a ‘new’ box of it, really useful stuff. The two parts mix really well, and ‘work’ really well.”

“This is one of the great 'best kept secrets',since so many people are not familiar with the product.I was introduced to it years ago in terms of model making and sculptural work,but have since used it to repair,refurbish and reconstruct so many diverse things.It is so easy to use and can be modelled when wet into fine shapes and smoot surfaces,making the finishing stage so much easier and less wasteful of the material.It's always worth having some in your tool kit or emergency kit,and i can't praise it enough.”
