I was worried about buying this case without trying it out with my camera/lenses, I've read various conflicting reviews about what cameras will comfortably fit . But after discussing this with the excellent online help (thank you !) I risked it. Happy to report this case does hold a Nikon D3300 (therefore any D3xxx cameras, and similar Nikons) + kit lens. To my surprise it will even take D3300+ a hefty Tokina 11-16mm with reversed lens hood. The case is a nice snug fit (especially with the Tokina) and I'm not using the top removable pad so I can have the camera strap folded over the camera screen instead, this is fine with a narrow strap, but if you use a bulky padded one you may find you have a problem. The case itself is very well made, quality materials, stitching & zips, the detachable rain cover is seam sealed , the broad velcro belt attachment is strong, and there is a useful little zip side pocket , mostly taken up by the rain cover (which I have removed to free up the space). The included shoulder strap has a good padded non slip section and hefty metal fittings. The novel , spiral zip controlled extension to the lens section is an interesting party trick . The extension is unpadded so I'd be wary of using it with a long lens, but it adds useful space to holster the camera with lens hood in place, even the Tokina's flared petal 77mm one. Overall, a solid bit of kit, it does the job and the velcro belt loop (which was the main selling point for me) is deep enough for my rucksack belt.

Very well designed holster, everything catered for but it would be nice to have another colour or two to choose from.

I bought this as I wanted a compact camera bag for use while walking/hillwalking. Fits my Nikon z6 with 24-70 F4 lens like a glove. The fit is snug without it being too snug. Really pleased with the design. Especially that the lens part can be extended so it will lit a bigger lens or you can keep the lens I have in the bag with the lens already extended. There is also a pocket to skip the lens cap in and a rain cover. Definitely a great purchase for my Nikon. Really like the Think Tank designs and would buy other items from their range.
