“This was an excellent purchase as I print a lot of photos and was finding ink cartridges very expensive. It was very easy to set up (I am in my seventh decade) and what fun being able to print direct from my mobile! Yes, the printing is a bit slow but that doesn't worry me at all. It would, however, have been nice not to have to constantly change copy paper and photo paper around, but this is a small irritation to live with. The photographic prints are superb. I would highly recommend this printer”

“This is an excellent printer and I can honestly say that the colour photo printing is the best that I have experienced. It was easy to set up and to link to my wireless network. Colour prints are so vibrant and the Black and white photo printing is great as well, probably due to having black and grey inks.”

“Really great printer, moving away from Epson eco tank due to not having maintenance cartridges this canon ticked all the boxes. Replacable maintenance cartridge and print heads. 6 colour ink tank. My only gripe is that it has no draft mode and only a choice of standard or high which means any A4 letter takes around 20 seconds to print initially after which subsequant prints are a little faster. Photo quality is super for a tank based system. Why this will never be on par with the pro grafs its perfectly adequate for home printing photos up to A4. I've also used the printer for iron on transfer which also works great. Colour documents look very clear and crisp on 120gsm paper with no bleed. So far no issues and extremely happy.”

“The photo printing is an improvement on my previous Pixma MG3650. I like the ink tank system & expect it to be far more economical. I DO NOT like the screen on the printer which is very difficult to read & which needs to be used more than I expected”

“Came with everything needed other than the USB cable which is normal. Easy instructions to follow to get up and running. The ink filling part was great even for a messy bugger like me, not one random ink splash anywhere :-). Printing results so far are really nice on the Canon Pro Luster paper. The only issue is trying to buy ink at present, not that I have used very much at all, but I am one of those guys that likes to be prepared :-)”
