FLUIDTECH System
The MVMXPROBASE fluid base features the ground-breaking FLUIDTECH system, making Manfrotto XPRO Monopod+ the first of its kind in the market to feature 3D fluidity for the ultimate smoothness in an extremely compact solution for advanced video shooting.
Lock out for maximum shooting control
This innovative solution features 3D fluid movement – on pan, tilt and swivel, with pioneering technology based on a spherical system located inside the base. When the priority is panning, 3D rotation can be locked in the vertical position, leaving pan movement free and giving additional shooting control (Please note: the vertical lock does not guarantee full self-standing support when the camera is mounted).
Quick & easy attachment
The FLUIDTECH base easily attaches to the XPRO Photo Monopod+ by unscrewing the foot at the bottom of the monopod, converting the photo monopod into a video monopod for smooth video footage.
Compatibility
The MVMXPROBASE is compatible with all XPRO Photo Monopods+, with the exception of the MMXPROA3B.

“This is a great piece of kit. Easy assembly to my Xpro monopod. I have used it in the open after carrying it and my camera and 500mm lens up a steep hill and the images were pin sharp as the base allowed me to follow my subject with ease. I have also used it in a hide to photograph Kingfishers and again it did not disappoint allowing me freedom of movement and a secure base to take pinsharp images from. A lot easier to carry around than my tripod and takes up a lot less room in use. I would recommend this product.”
