“The quality of this lens is sublime. It feels luxurious, is solidly made and weather sealed. The images it produces also ooze luxury. Lots of cinematic character making it ideal for video. Joe at the Carlisle shop was extremely helpful. He let me test out the lens, inspect it in detail and even pose for an interview style framing so I could see how the lens would look for my uses. Absolute star. The lens itself was in immaculate condition - which was a pleasant surprise when it had a grade B from Wilkinson. It goes to show that their grading system is BRUTAL. So rest assured, if it's got an A or B grade, it's going to be in excellent condition (unlike MPB where 'Excellent' is debatable!). Plus the 12 month warranty leaves me peace of mind buying used with Wilkinson rather than eBay or MPB (no warranty and 6months respectively).”
