“Very easy to snap onto the back of my Krypton wheelchair. Surprisingly nippy too! Easy to transport in the car. Battery life seems to be very good and has a good range so lasts a while before needing to be recharged which again can be done from the chair or just the battery. Love the colour choice on the back too! Martin was very patient allowing me to test drive lots of different systems without pushing me into making any particular decision. It was left to me to decide what I was comfortable with. Very happy with the service I received and would recommend.”

“The Benoit was the perfect solution for my needs. I have limited mobility due to a chronic pain condition. I can walk a little way, but not more than about 10m, and I had been using a self-propelled manual wheelchair, but my arms and hands had begun hurting too much for me to propel myself. I was looking for something very specific - a powered wheelchair that would fit in an ordinary SUV, that I could lift in and out by myself and take on holiday. Everything I looked at was either too big or too heavy, or both. Then Jess at Wheelfreedom suggested the Benoit. It has a range of about 10 miles, but it is lightweight enough for me to lift. The motor and battery disconnect easily from a manual wheelchair, so I can stow them separately in the car and, used with a folding manual wheelchair, all fit easily into an ordinary SUV. The battery recharges in around 4 hours, and they even do a car charger for 'emergencies'. I took it on holiday recently, and it performed perfectly, allowing me to roam around on my own, and allowing my husband (who used to have to push me) to see what he wanted to see, instead of having to take me where I wanted to go. The Benoit was the perfect solution for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs to combine travel in a car, bus or plane with powered mobility when they get to the other end. It gave me back my independence, and that is invaluable!!!”
