“We bought this wheelchair for my 16 year old daughter who has mobility problems and can only walk a short distance. There were a number of features that we needed and we could only find this combination on the Catalyst 5. These were: - off-road wheels and a removable front wheel to convert it to an outdoor trike - attendant brakes as our daughter can't stop the wheels herself - small enough to fit in the boot of a medium sized car The overall build quality is excellent. There are many options and adjustments that can be selected to spec it to our needs. Mountain bike tyres ensure that travelling over rough terrain is no problem. The drum brakes are very efficient and bring the chair to a stop quickly, even with me skating along behind it! Although the chair is large when assembled as a trike, it has quick release wheels and a folding frame so can be fitted in the back of the car. A chair like this was never going to be cheap, but it is good value compared to other brands. This chair enables us to go out walking as a family, together, and my daughter doesn't miss out.”
