Does the job. Not suitable for hills but that was explained when we got it. The battery is very difficult to access when it needs charging. The period between charges is shortening

Dear Marcel Thank you for your feedback on the Apex Rapid. The scooter features a high-level charging port on the tiller (on the right-hand side, underneath the handlebars), which will allow you to charge the battery without having to reach down to plug the cable directly into the battery. We can also arrange a battery test to check the current health of you scooter's batteries - please contact us on 0800 025 8005 if you would like further information on this. Chris Sedgwick

Ideal size, easy to maneuver and great for popping down to local shops. Didn't want a large scooter so this one is ideal.

Although I have limited experience, I believe this scooter to be a good one. Good fun and very ease to operate and manoeuvre. Quite difficult to dismantle/re-assemble and components are heavy to lift into car boot, as with a number of scooters. Although battery has good life it is heavy to lift off scooter for re-charging if your facilities do not permit re-charging whilst in situ on scooter. Quite hard ride on uneven paved surfaces in spite of springing and small front wheels tend to “snag” on the smallest steps, i.e. joints between road gutters and ramped driveways - need to approach these “steps” at right angles to get over them.

An excellent choice for my 95-year-old mother, who has been given a new lease of life with the freedom to get about more independently.

Very comfortable and manageable on the London pavements and tight corners. Has really improved my father in laws mobility. He gets out most days now and travels a good distance each time.

My pride apex is a brilliant scooter, it is very comfortable with the spring suspension, it dismantles easy into five pieces so I can transport it in my car boot, the charge on it lasts for days. I have had this scooter for two years now and it has never let me down. Would I recommend buying one YES definitely.
