Very happy so far with the ACCUR8. Installation was very straightforward and the LCD panel looks good with plenty of information on it. Just need to set it up to the WIFI. Thanks Kevin

A quality weather station, well made with a clear bright colour display. Fairly straight forward to set up the Wifi and internet connection. Useful video on Youtube. No data storage on SD card as with previous station, but not essential for me. Recommended product + + + + + + +

In all for the price this is a very good weather station with a beautiful display and very easy to configure. After many years I now had to replace my Oregon Scientific WMR986 which I have had for 20 years but I can no longer get spares for it and all the sensors have now stopped functioning. The WMR986 I had connected to a Unix system and read the data via a serial cable to record and graph locally. The DWS7100 connects very simply to your 2.4Ghz network and uploads data to weathercloud and wunderground. But some negative points which are the reason I have not given 5 stars: - The DWS7100 connects once every minute to the wifi and does a DHCP request every time this happens and is otherwise unreachable so there is no way to extract data from it locally and create graphs etc programatically locally - I am dependant on wunderground and weathercloud. - Extra sensors eg the remote temperature/hygrometer are not recorded in wunderground and weathercloud so that data I can only read from the display when I am physically at home. - Probably not as important for most people these days but the station can not be configured with a static IP address and is only able to query predefined NTP servers (I have my own NTP server) - Although there is a firmware upgrade option on the console which is only reachable when I activate the wifi pairing - not from the IP address the weatherstation is using on my local network All in all though for an average user for the price this station is still good value.

I don't usually write reviews but this weather station is just so good that it deserves a few words. This is the third make I have tried and it far surpasses the rest. To start with, the signal is much stronger than the others. I have, at last, been able to place the weather station in the ideal spot. The display console is well laid out and clear. The manual is written in English and most of it makes sense. The only exception is the part about the weather forecast. This really needs some explanation to make sense. What, for instance, do the two flowers signify? Overall, I am more than happy with the station; I am ecstatic.

I’ve had the weather station set up a couple weeks now. The display has a lot of information on it but it’s nice and clear. It’s easy to setup so each section displays in whatever units you want it to. I haven’t been able to figure out the weather forecasting graphic yet, when you read the manual, two of the four pictures can mean two different things depending on whether the pressure is going up or down, and that is the one thing that isn’t shown on the display, so unless you are taking notes of the pressure the graphic doesn’t seem to make any sense, plus it keeps showing images that are not shown or explained in the manual. The display is very dim when running on batteries so you will want to use the supplied mains power supply, the only problem is the cable is a bit on the short side, I had to splice in about a meter of cable so I could put it on the shelf directly above the socket.
