“I bought these to help with my conception journey, however I couldn’t stomach the smell of them! Not sure how a pregnant woman would be able to take them - the smell of fish is so so bad!! Had to bin them as they were stinking out the whole house and left a bad taste in my mouth after taking. Horrible.”

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We're so sorry that this has your experience with us. The smell is the form of Selenium that we use, called Selenium Methionine, which we use due to its high bioavailability but we understand your frustrations, we can only apologise for this. We've passed all of this over to our nutrition team though so thank you once again for the feedback.

“I bought these pregnancy vitamins when I first knew I was pregnant as I wanted to do everything “right”! But oh my goodness, the smell of them is vile! And for someone who is already nauseous and suffering from morning sickness, they were horrendous! I could smell them as soon as I opened the cabinet even though they were in their sealed bag! The customer service I received was also terrible. When I had to phone to cancel, I had never heard a more depressed-sounding woman on the phone. I hope she is ok. I'm afraid after this experience, I won't be trying Feel again and certainly wouldn't recommend it.”

Hi Karen. Thanks for taking your time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear you feel this way. The product contains L-Selenomethionine, an organic form of Selenium which contains Methonine. Methonine is a sulfur-containing amino acid which can have an unpleasant smell (especially at warmer temperatures), but this is a natural characteristic of the ingredient and does not impact on its usability/ quality. To help alleviate this, open the pouch and place it in the fridge to cool, which will reduce the intensity of the odour. After this, store the product elsewhere in a cool, dry place, which should help keep the odour at a minimum.

“Sorry to say this but the smell was heave inducing. I called to discuss this with a rep and said that especially when one is pregnant, you don’t need to be repulsed by super-strong smelling vitamins. The odour is like pungent mushrooms and yeast dialled up to number 11! I cancelled the subscription and didn’t take another dose, so was a waste of money. I went to on to the standard brand offering which most Drs recommended and do not smell. Please reformulate these vitamins”
