As for the backstory, I’d stretched ny budget to buy my first and noticed this line wasn’t selling out over time, so I wrote to Wax and asked if I could purchase my second at the sale price it looked likely to be offered at sooner or later.
They responded promptly but declined, their prerogative of course. Fortunately, what I’d expected happened and within a few weeks I got it for the price I’d asked for.
My only slight gripe is that they would have known this well ahead of me and could have granted my admittedly cheeky request quietly and privately rather than making me wait and chance it.
That would have made me an advocate for life. But hey, I got the piece and it’s great.”
