“The only thing I fault is the paddle. It's not the best as the extending pole slips throught the bracket. Having to stop and reajust this every 3-6 strokes is really frustrating and you lose momentum over the water. I have contacted wave as it might just be that the paddle is defective and i am waiting for a reply. I am confident giving their customer service rating that they will solutionise this no problem. Either way I will need to get a new one because this sucks the fun right out of it. Other than the paddle the board is great and inflates quickly and holds its pressure, it's very stable over the water, more so than others I have rented previously. The other accessories such as the pump, fin and repair kit are all great and good quality, not much too say other than that, however the bag was a surprise. Not sure what i was expecting but originally when I opened it looked a bit naff. Once packed it's actually extremely comfortable, I had a bit of a trek down to the side of the Loch, around 1.7 miles and even over distances I was very comfortable. I wouldn't call myself a paddle boarder, but we are active and whenever we away we normally rent a board or 2. As we are doing this more often I decided to get my own because we are surrounded by Lochs and river ways where rental isn't possible. I have used the board a few times now, mostly on Lochs but also the river Tay which is tidal, so a littlemore bumpy but still fine. I would highly it recommend to someone of a similar experience and use requirement, we are now looking at getting another for my wife, but would probably opt for the tourer next time around if not only for the little luggage net at the front.
