“My paddle board was delivered on Monday and as such I haven’t managed to get out on the water with it yet. The packaging and contents were all exceptional and I have looked through and check all items, which seem to be in top condition. “I have read lots of positive reviews of many of the Wave boards. I was very much looking forward to receiving mine. The delivery was very quick and efficient. Very well packaged. Unfortunately I had opened, unravelled and inflated the board I noticed it and some damage due to a crease. I am sure this is very unusual but disappointing nonetheless. I was offered a small discount but I was concerned that the damage would shorten the life of the board. I sent it back and ordered the Tourer instead as this has the storage straps also. I have been offered a small discount. The Tourer has now arrived and I have checked it over and it all looks great. Now I'm looking forward to exploring with the new board.”

“I'm really happy that I purchased my SUP from Wave. I'd compared six different suppliers and on paper, Wave came out on top for style, length/width/depth, weight, included accessories and importantly - price! I was still a little nervous ordering online, but the reviews were reassuringly positive. The delivery was very quick and well packaged. Everything arrived carefully wrapped. I pumped up the SUP at home first to check that there were no leaks. The SUP was very easy to inflate using the included pump which has a useful pressure gauge for when you're nearly fully inflated. It took about 10 minutes to inflate at a fairly leisurely pace although you do get a bit warm! No indication of leaking at the seams. The fin was a little stiff to get on but this improved after a couple of goes. I also rubbed a bit of candle wax on the fin connector which helped. There’s an easy to release clip to keep the fin in place so there’s no danger of it coming loose while in the water. I've taken the SUP out once on a medium sized river and had so much fun! The board was easy to carry, performed excellently on the water and the paddle seemed particularly high quality. I was moving much more swiftly than I usually do in my inflatable kayak with its standard included paddle. The SUP was stable and comfortable on the water and easy to launch and land from the riverbank. The standing board has a slightly padded grip pad which was comfortable for both kneeling and standing and the included coil leash is very sturdy and comfortable - no irritating rough edges. Haven’t tried packing it into the included backpack yet to carry, but the bag seems sturdy with comfortable padded straps. Overall, I am very pleased I purchased this SUP as it is excellent value for money.”
