“The lack of instructions made this less than easy to use. I watched several YouTube videos in the end and emailed customer support (and got an email 5 days later). The name Starter kit would suggest - new hot tub owner to me and I did expect more guidance in the pack. The PHP test stips, test 3 things including total Alkalinity and there is no chemical supplied in this kit to support that. Or maybe there is and it has a totally different name?? According to YouTube getting the total Alkalinity correct is step 1. Next step is PHP and there is an Increaser and Decreaser for that, followed by chlorine to finish. It gives you instructions by water volume but nowhere in the hot tub instructions or on the page could I find the total volume of water it held! So I had a guess and added too much!! So had to wait 24 hours for the cholorine levels to reduce. (another YouTube tip). 5 days later customer support did get back to me with an answer. The wave products seem great quality and a good price. A small amount of set up support would have made the whole experience so much better.”
