“I bought 2 water butts. The diverters were straightforward to fit, the water butts are working well. There was lots in the instructions about drilling holes for the diverter pipe, but that was already done. When we tipped out the butts to get the fittings, one had 2 loose washers in addition to the tap and diverter parts, one had 1 loose washer. There was no reference at all to these in the instructions. I just guessed and put them on the outside of the fittings for the diverter and tap - and just the tap where there was only one. So top marks for the actual water butt, a little less for the usefulness of the instructions.”

“I bought 3 of these water butts, now I just need rain! Delivery was rapid, the butts are simple to assemble and are ideal for my needs. I would have given 5 stars but the tap on each water butt, which simply screws into place, leaked slightly. I've fixed the problem with plumbers putty but this does seem to be a design weakness.”
