“This is a well-made and robust water butt. I particularly liked the fact that the hole for the tap was threaded so that the tap supplied could simply be screwed into the water butt. Taking advice from another reviewer, I used plumber's tape on the tap thread to ensure no leaks. Whether this was essential I don't know, but it certainly does not leak around the tap. The child-proof lid is a nice feature. The lid cannot be removed without pressing in a plastic fitting under the rim of the lid. All-in-all I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.”
