“Large butts sold by Water Butts Direct are principally despatched by their suppliers. The parent GM8 Group director + owner Mark Haydon Robinson told me that everything happens automatically once the customer completes the butt purchase. The IT connection appears to work smoothly from WBD to their suppliers. Sadly not, it seems (see other reviews) from dispatcher to customer. My own butt arrived later than expected and without warning. Be wary of the Water Butts Direct website and its promises. I was explicitly seeking a 3P Technik 800L butt to match the excellent one I bought in 2018. Sadly, Water Butts Direct used the 3P Technik brand name in website labels and an image of the 3P Technik butt to sell an inferior butt. The Ecosure 800L product I received omits the intermediate support struts that are such a strong feature of the 3P Technik design. It took me seven weeks and two approaches to their German supplier to gain Mark Haydon Robinson's attention. When contacting me (by phone only) he insisted that this was mis-purchase not mis-selling. He appeared to state this before fully studying my evidence. Yet he still refused to back down. You may well be buying from the premier seller of water butts in the UK. Premier in terms of their buying power and influence. Good luck if you hit a problem.”
