“The colour is amazing and certainly makes a statement. It is large, even though I measured the height it’s only when you see it in the flesh that you appreciate just how big it is. There are some criticisms though, firstly the flower top section is moulded with the butt, so it’s not a lift off, this creates two problems: you can’t get into the butt to use the full locking nut to secure hose but just use a rubber washer to then push hose in. I’m sure it will hold but would have preferred the more secure locking mechanism. It doesn’t come with a lid and so if you don’t want to use the flower planter bit and use the whole butt then it is open to the elements but it’s so tall you couldn’t put a watering can in the top and fill up that way. Finally the bottom hole, which you need to drill out if you want to use the hosepipe fitting but the fixing is plastic. It is a very pricey water butt and would have expected all metal fixings and a lid. But it is what it is and does the job and I wanted the colour so limited options. thumbs up if you don’t want the generic black or green.”
