The OASE Tradux Underwater Transition is suitable for connecting flexible pond hose or electrical cables (3mm to 9mm diameter) through flexible rubber Pond Liners. The large clamping surface area ensures a watertight seal around the 2" BSP Male threaded connector, so hoses can be passed below water level as well as above.Also suitable for pool and tank walls up to 14mm thick.Includes multistage hosetails up to 2 inch diameter.Canaccept 3/4", 1", 1 1/4",1 1/2" and 2" internalbore Flexible Pond Hose.

“Followed the instructions carefully. I even found a video from America on how to install. Pond leaked badly after installation. Took apart and tried using plumbers tape on hose tails (outside of pond side) & sealant around connection (on pond side). Still leaked badly.”

Dear David, We've been retailing the Tradux for well over a decade and this is the 1st occasion of a leakage reported once the final install is complete. I do wonder if the item is faulty in some way as there shouldn't be a need to use sealants or PTFE tape. If time permits, please call us on 02392 373735 and I can report the findings to OASE. As I say, this is unheard of, other than rare occasions where debris is trapped between the seals or the liner hole is cut too large to clamp effectively. I doubt either is the case in your instance, so i'd like to get to the bottom of your actual issue. Many Thanks - Andy @ Water Garden Ltd.
