“The texture on the mesh is just amazing. Only one of the product photos really shows this texture. Once on the watch, this strap is exceedingly comfortable and it looks fantastic.
There are some minor negatives, however. Firstly, I've not used this type of mesh strap before, and the way it fastens is quite odd and fiddly to operate. You have to thread the end into the mechanism and then underneath the other part of the strap against your skin, before pushing the clip in to lock it in place. I found the procedure not as easy as I thought it would be. Secondly, this isn't a quick-release style, so now that I've got it on the watch, I have no idea how to get it off again! I like to swap around my watch straps between my watches, but I can't do that with this strap. It's staying on there! I'm fine removing leather straps and most metal bracelets from watches, but this sort of metal design? Umm..
I bought another Staib mesh strap at the same time as I bought this one, and the other one is quick-release, so super-easy to install and remove on my watches. This other strap is also excellent, although not as pretty as this one. Please Staib, fit more of your straps with QR mechanisms!”
