“Beautifully made product, and looks great.
Unfortunately, when offered up to my own Rolex Submariner (as per the pre-ceramic Sub shown in the WO web-page photos for this product) the undersides of the bracelet connectors (i.e. the sections between the lugs) were too tight up against the watch itself. The bracelet would have been wearable I guess, but, I didn't want it constantly grazing against the case of the Rolex for fear of damaging it.
It's often the case that Rolex watches have limited clearance between the lug holes and the main body of the watch, but, I'd hoped it would be ok going by the web-page photos. Unfortunately, it wasn't and so I've had to return the item. If the web-page photos are going to show this bracelet fitted to a Submariner such as mine, ideally it would have shown the underside of the watch with the bracelet fitted to give an indication of how little clearance there is.
I'm sure the product would be great with the majority of watches, but, just be mindful that if fitting to a pre-ceramic Sub such as mine there may not be sufficient clearance between the bracelet and the watch... particularly if you have smaller wrists whereby the bracelet hinges at an increased angle from the watch.
Another point to note is that the original Rolex spring bars were too thick to fit into the end of the Forstner bracelet, which again you may not be aware of from the WO web-page for this product.
Should I pick up an Omega Speedmaster later down the line, however, I'll definitely buy this product again. These Forstner bracelets look superb on these Omegas.
Only knocking a star off my review because of it not fitting the Submariner as well as I'd hoped. The product itself gets five stars.”
