Needs to be kept on a watch cushion for a week or two to become shaped as it is stiff and flat when new, but the result of breaking in the strap is definitely worth it.”
“The strap is very high quality leather. It is stiff when new, and I suspect it will take some breaking in, but this is to be expected with shell cordovan - it's like a high quality pair of shoes - they need to be worn in, but they can last a lifetime.

Hi Robert, the shell cordovan material used for this strap is initially a little stiff but once you have broken it in then it is one of the best materials for a watch strap or shoes like you said.
