“Having already bought the Hirsch Ranger strap in Golden Brown I decided to go for the black version as well.
This black strap has a warm tone to it, an almost matt finish and a plain design that suits my, recently acquired, Longines Hydroconquest chronograph. It is also available in 21mm which gives a perfect fit on this particular watch.
This black Ranger strap has regular spring bars and not quick release ones like the brown version. Not an issue for me but a point purchasers should be aware of.

Thanks a lot for your review. The Ranger is a fantastic watch strap and the 21mm is a special commission by WatchObsession and because of this, we are required to order in large volumes. We are in the process of placing another order to replenish our 21mm stock in Gold Brown and the next batch will in fact have quick release spring bars pre fitted. Hope this helps.
“Descent quality but not without some flaws. It's not completely black, it's more of a very dark brown. It's also now one of the thickest straps I now own. It's thickness goes well with a larger watch though. Feels like it will last a lifetime of use which is a good feature in a strap of this price point. The deployment clasp is my favourite feature due to it's high polish finish and the extremely encouraging snap to the close when put of the wrist.”
