“Quick shipping to Canada, and no customs charges. Colour nicely compliments my blue (obviously!) Christopher Ward Dartmouth first gen. Leather was stiff on arrival, but an hour watching television and rolling the two sections around my fingers quickly got a curve in it. Very snug 22 mm when attaching the straps; expect to try and compress the leather a bit when new and stiff. Very comfy to wear. My only criticism - the second retainer tends to slide off the tucked-in strap end and can end up retaining nothing, but to be fair I have the buckle fairly near the end of the strap.”
Appreciate your feedback on this strap. It can be pretty stiff to begin with due to the scratch resistant calfskin that Hirsch use on this one. You done the right thing by expediting the breaking in process, this will help make the strap more comfortable quicker. As for the floating keeper, we can pass this feedback on to Hirsch but the best thing for you might be an XL version of this strap which Hirsch unfortunately do not produce at this moment. Thanks again for your review.
“Excellent strap looks fantastic on my Tudor GMT. The quick release spring bars are fantastic for allowing strap rotation, they will be a must on any future strap purchases.”
“Great strap, really good quality. Just the right amount of padding I was hoping for to give my Samsung watch 3 a more classy look. Bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for and I would highly recommend theses straps.”
“The heavy calf blue matches the sunburst blue of my Oris perfectly. It’s very easy to apply with the new quick release spring. The Hirsch heavy calf is rugged, sporty and yet “dressy”. I have another one on my Meistersinger #1. What do you think?”
