Really happy with the windows, they look great. The trickle vent was damaged on arrival but Vufold sent a replacement one out very quickly.

The lead time, delivery and quality of the window are all poor. I waited a long time beyond the stated maximum for the window and although I was informed of a delay towards the end of this period I then had to chase a few weeks later. The delivery was made by a couple of guys that made Shaun Rider and Bez look straight and their van was even more busted. They managed to deliver the wrong fitting kit to me and by the time their error was fixed I'd lost a day's work, paid my labourer and had to (once again) apologise to my client on Vufold's behalf. Once I finally get the window installed it's got shoddy mastic finish, the sealing rubbers fit poorly and impede opening/closing of the window and the lock doesn't work. All in all, it's been an expensive and disappointing transaction.

Hi Thomas, Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we are sorry to hear of your disappointment. Regarding the lead time, when you placed your order for your single window, we provided you with an expected delivered by date of 07/03/23, and we had no reason to believe that this wasn't achievable. On 28/02/23 production made us aware that there had been a delay to our glass delivery, however we still expected to deliver on or within 3 working days of the originally agreed date. Our order processing department called you to explain this, and also advised you that once your window was dispatched, the delivery company would make contact with you. We then received an email from yourself on the 08/03/23 asking for an update. Prior to this, we had already been speaking with production regarding your order, and we were waiting for confirmation of when your window would be dispatched to our delivery company. We should have communicated this to you earlier and we are sorry you had to email us first. That same day, our order processing team called you to inform you that your window had been completed and would be delivered within 3 working days; your window order was then delivered to you on 10/03/23. Whilst we should have delivered your window on the originally agreed date and provided you with a second update sooner, which we do sincerely apologise for not doing, unfortunately due to the delay with the glass delivery, we did all we could by notifying you at the earliest opportunity and then delivering your window 3 days later than expected. Having checked our records, we cannot see where you have informed us of any other issues. Our customer’s satisfaction is very important to us and if you are disappointed with any aspect of your purchase we feel it very important that we are made aware, however, if there is a quality issue, we would have expected you to report this to us before installation, and by contacting our designated aftercare team. My colleague has since tried to contact you so we can offer a resolution. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and we do hope to hear further from you so we can get this resolved for you. Many thanks Vufold
