Don’t really know we’re to start. I can classify this as being the worst experience I’ve had with any of the online purchase. Firstly the door had a 4 week lead time. Had a phone call in the third week after purchase to be informed that the door didn’t meet the quality requirements and a slight delay will occur on delivery. I understand that things can go wrong, as I’m in the construction industry for over 15 years now and I know how things work. The door was delivered 4 weeks after. So 8 weeks in total. Now the stress starts. It was delivered without the glass for the side light. After a long conversation with someone from customer care which was literally asking me several times to check that a bit of glass 400x2000mm is not hidden somewhere between the other boxes and packaging like I was an idiot who doesn’t even know what is taking about, I’ve managed to finally convince them after sending photos. I was promised a call back on the day but it never happened. I had to chase myself and after a long conversation I’ve managed to get things rushing out a bit. There was no intention of making up for the mistake or at least rushing things over and prioritise. After insisting like mad I’ve managed to get a better date on delivery. The door is really poor quality. The edges are really rough cut. At fitting stage our carpenter spent 2 days on trying to adjust a bowed door. A 7mm difference from top to bottom makes this door impossible to operate. 7mm is not tolerance on a door( as told by their customer support). We are currently using the patio door. It looks cheap and nasty. I’ve seen doors before from cheap make to really heigh end stuff and I am able to compare. I’ve been promised a replacement door in 4/5 weeks but after 5 weeks nothing happened, we still have a non functional front door.

Hi Mihai, We are sorry that you experienced a delay to the arrival of your order and that you have had to raise further issues. We do care about our customers experience, and as a family run business we pride ourselves on both the overall service and quality of products we offer, having many happy customers who have left reviews across numerous platforms to back this up. However, we can clearly see areas where we should have done better for you, and we do sincerely apologise for the errors. We have been working hard to try and put things right for you and we are still in the process of doing so, hence we were very surprised to receive a previous review at such an early stage and before we had been able to get everything fully resolved for you. Whilst you made us aware that you removed the review, regardless of where an error has occurred, and from our experience, working together makes any process run a lot smoother. You placed your order on a 4 - 5 week lead-time as advertised on our web site and we delivered your order to you on week 7. We would never knowingly accept any order if it was not possible to commit to the agreed time frame, and this was exactly the same with your order Mihai. Whilst a door may appear to be a fairly basic item to produce, there are various elements and processes before the end result can be achieved, if there are any unforeseeable circumstances at any of the various stages this will inevitably cause a delay. As soon as we were made aware of an issue in production with your order, we notified you immediately and kept you updated at each stage, on the agreed call back dates and right up until the day your door was dispatched to you. Regarding the side panel glazing, not all vehicles and reputable carriers are equipped to transport just glass, and when we initially spoke, we were trying to find the quickest delivery option for you, which based on your costal location was initially 5 -7 working days. Behind the scenes we were working hard to improve this, which we did, to 2 working days and notified you as soon as this option became available. We do accept you should not have been put in this situation and apologies again for the oversight on our part. We can assure you though, getting the glass to you at the earliest opportunity was our priority. After reviewing the images you kindly provided, the general quality of the door and frame is to a high standard, the outer frame is made from UPVC as advertised on our web site, however the door itself has a high-definition wood grain GRP skin, its construction, feel, and appearance differs significantly from that of a full UPVC door. There are 3 areas you have highlighted to us that we agree with you and are not acceptable. We are sorry that they were not picked up during our quality control checks and thank you for highlighting this so we can ensure it doesn't happen again. As you had previously left a negative review before we were given the opportunity to resolve the issues, we thought it only right due to your dissatisfaction to arrange collection of your order and offer you a full refund or full replacement, both of which you rejected as you informed us you wanted to install the door, hence your comments on your latest review on here and another reviews platform having ‘the worst experience’ and the product ‘looks cheap and nasty’ has left us confused. We do accept there have been errors made and that we have areas for improvements. We are sorry if the resolutions we have and are trying to put in place do not meet your expectations and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards Vufold
