“The bifold doors look lovely. However, they don’t fold as snuggly as I would have liked. The fact that they are not pre finished is a big let down.”

As advertised, the doors are unfinished oak, providing customers the flexibility to achieve their preferred finish. We also offer a pre-painted white option for those who prefer a finished door. Regarding the doors not folding as snugly as expected, we’d love to explore this further. Conventional bifold doors typically fold in a standard manner, so we would appreciate it if you could share some images to help us understand the issue better. “Over the moon with my Bi-fold doors! There were a few chips on the frame, but they were replaced immediately. Great customer service. Kept me up to date and answered all of my questions promptly. My builder who installed them was so pleased with the quality and ease of installation, he asked for the make so he could recommend to other clients. Now that's a recommendation! Thank you Vufold I love them.”

“They are exactly what we wanted and look good. Installation took two days but instructions were generally a model of clarity. Installation kit was wonderfully comprehensive. Great support from the company too when we hit snags with the delivery and with the installation.”

“A very good quality product. We love these doors and how they improve our space. Excellent finish, fittings and hardware, superb service too. I fitted these myself, I’m no joiner but found the instructions pretty detailed and easy to follow. Bifold had thought of everything , great buy.”

There are what initially appear to be cheaper alternatives on the market but when you add in lengthy installation costs and the purchasing of additional tools and fixings, they can soon become very costly, but for a lower quality door. “Vufold doors were recommended to us by our building manager, however, we wanted to see various company's doors before purchasing. We went to a factory near home and then we travelled to Macclesfield to look at Vufold. The difference was stark. Vufold was much more professional and welcoming with the salesman answering all our questions, making suggestions and providing us with technical documentation. The doors are now fitted and look classy with excellent draught proofing as well as being easy to use. I would definitely buy from Vufold again.”
