“I must commence by saying I consider myself to be a fairly competent DIYer. I have no formal training in the construction industry, nor have I ever been employed in the industry. On the plus side, I consider the doors to be of excellent quality in terms of materials and construction, considerably better than I had hoped for. I constructed the doors myself, rather than employing a tradesman etc, and this is where I encountered what I consider to be negative issues. I found the instructions generally poor. At times, they were confusing, lacked detail (fix using the screws provided - which screws? About four different sets were provided), inaccurate (the drawing showed four screws securing aspects of the door, yet the item only had two screw holes). Overall, a good quality product let down by a poor and confusing set of drawings and assembly instructions. Shame, but could be so easily improved. For example, look at instructional drawings of any IKEA wardrobe for how concise, accurate and clearly understandable instructions should be. Recommended, but with warnings.”

“Myself and the fitter thought this was a quality product and was easy to fit. The only negative was after it was in situ their was a draft from the conservatory into the living room where there was a gap at the bottom of the door. After finding out by a phone call to you that you do not supply anything to rectify this it was a disappointment.”

Dear Miss. Sandra Thank you for your kind feedback. Our internal doors are designed to divide living areas and are fully sealed around the head, jambs and between doors, to help mainly with noise proofing but these will also help with drafts. If they are installed between a conservatory where you may require additional draft proofing, perhaps brush draft excluders which can be sourced at DIY stores if retrofitted would help to reduce draft at the bottom of the doors.

“Excellent product, delighted with the quality. Our builder found the installation very simple & also commented on the high quality of the doors. We positioned the doors between the kitchen/diner & the lounge. Previously the lounge had been quite dark but now the light streams through from the back of the house. When the doors are closed the seal is very good & prevents kitchen sounds & smells from permeating to the lounge.”
