“Door is chipped and unable to get a replacement as informed past the 72hrs delivery window. Door looks great but pointless damaged.”

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear of the damage. Yes, you are correct to highlight that we have a 72-hour policy for checking for damaged or missing items; however, that wasn't the issue here. The problem was the two-week delay in reporting the damage and that the delivery paperwork was signed to confirm there was no packaging damage, yet the photos provided show a tear in the packaging and damage to the door in the same location. We strive to be fair and reasonable, but this situation leaves us in a difficult position. We appreciate your understanding and the 3-star rating despite the inconvenience. “Well Vufold I can't praise your doors and service enough. If there was anything I would like the option of is having the hinges routered in, just to help speed up with installation. The doors are well made aswell as the finish on them. Thank you guys.”

We do offer other front doors with pre-fitted hinges, but we didn't want to limit our customers choice on the Ultimate door range, so customers can either purchase our hinges or source their own. “Excellent product, Order the Stockholm door on the Wednesday and it was with me on the Monday. Great service and handled with care by the courier. Fitting was easy everything that you could need was there all fixtures and fixings even frame sealer the same colour as the door. Highly recommended will be ordering from them again thanks.”

“It is verysoft wood and gets damaged very easy. The installer wasn't the most happiest in the world, but was a fast delivery which we needed.”

We understand your concerns regarding the wood being soft and easily damaged; as with any material, care does need to be taken during the installation process. Please rest assured though, we only use slow-grown hardwood and thick slices of real oak veneers on our external doors, and for extra piece of mind, you also have a 10-year gurantee against the occurrence of manufacturing defects. Sorry to hear of your experience with your chosen installer, if you have any further feedback from him as to what he was unhappy about, we would be grateful if you were to share this with us.
