“Ordered Oslo door on 21st October and it was delivered on 23rd October. Excellent product complete with everything necessary to install the door including full ironmongery and with extensive fitting instructions. Particularly impressed with the factory paint finish .”

“The quality was acceptable, but as far as I am aware, there was no mention in the details that I had to make up the door frame myself and £170 was ridiculous for 4 pieces of wood and some trim”

Hi Andrew, Thank you for providing your feedback and we are sorry to hear of your disappointment relating to the frame assembly and price. The frame you purchased is a joinery product, and unlike Upvc frames or our composite door range, it is common within the industry for the 4 wooden frame sections to be delivered unassembled. This gives you a saving on delivery charges and is also easier to store / handle once it arrives at your property. The product description on our website does advertise that ‘Vufold Ultimate doors should be professionally fitted by someone with the necessary joinery skills.’ The assembly instructions are also included in the product download section, giving clear guidance on how to assemble the outer frame. The frame itself is constructed from engineered hardwood, piloted for the frame fixing points, pre machined for the draught excluders and then fully finished with 3 coats of a microporous paint finish. Not only were you supplied with the fully painted wooden sections, but the frame kit also includes installation instructions, a separate aluminium weatherproof threshold, an external draught seal pack and a full screw and drill bit fixing kit. Our frames are also offered as an optional extra should you prefer to use an existing frame or source your own.
