“The door and components are very well made and impressive looking. Very secure and seems to have excellent thermal properties. Because it wasn't pre-cut for reasons we understand it took our carpenter a while to fit it which of course adds to the cost so it's worth bearing that in mind. I was also expecting it to be a few shades lighter in colour from the website than it actually is and would have preferred a lighter shade, but that's a minor issue. As ever Vufold were extremely responsive and helpful with information during the purchasing process.”

Thank you for advising others to factor in a carpenters time, this door is a joinery product and does require an experienced tradesperson to install it. We do appreciate your feedback regarding the oak finish; from our experience we have found the finish we use offers good protection against the external elements. When we have trialled lighter / clear finishes, they have required much more regular maintenance than what we feel is acceptable.
