“Bought the Ulitimate Bergen external door in Grey with frame and long bar handles.Looks very nice. Fitter was very impressed with the fittings provided from spacers to sealant drll bits to paint. Really well thought out. Delivery was very quick. Had no issues at all.”

However, we are also quite disheartened to see a 1-star review, especially since we believe we have provided a product that matches the description and specifications made availbe to you before making your purchase. To clarify, our product listings do not state that the doors come with the optional hardware pre-machined or attached. We emphasize in several areas that these doors are designed to be installed by a professional joiner. Additionally, our door and accessories assembly instructions are readily available in the product information to ensure transparency. Most wooden front doors are supplied in kit form for joiners to install, and this is standard within the industry. We do offer pre-assembled door sets in our composite and aluminium front door ranges, which might be more suitable for those looking for a ready-to-install option. We also want to remind you that you had the option to cancel and return your order if you changed your mind upon receiving it. “1 month on from delivery, I still can't find anyone capable of fitting it. I've googled carpenter, I've written adverts, I joined check a trade , book a buildercand other sites, I called a door company locally and one of their idiots turned uovand said he couldn't do it. I've have 4 carpenters visit, ive sent photos and links to people and none of them will do the job. I'll have to scrap my door (in its original packaging) and buy a door from a company who will fit it.”

Thank you for the 5-star product rating. Whilst we are sorry to hear of your difficulties, hanging a wooden front door is a standard job for any qualified carpenter or joiner. This type of door has been supplied this way for many many years so it makes no sense as to why you have encountered the problem you have.
