“The quality of this door is excellent particularly the dimensional accuracy which makes fitting much easier. Only disappointment is with the Internal type threshold there is a 10mm gap at the bottom which is unnecessarily large considering the tolerances are good and the brush seals provided are a surface fixed afterthought. Better stick with the External threshold type and put up with the small cill upstand. Otherwise very happy.”

“The doors fold much better than our previous doors and run very smoothly on the tracks. The flat pack is simple to install - only two of us installed it with no previous experience although being practically minded is useful. It seemed to be a good price from others that we looked at”

“The doors seem sturdy and weatherproof although the colour is very different to oak, they are covered in a thick plastic like coating which looks like UPVC. I have decided to paint the doors as I don't like the finish, however the price is very good.”

Dear Miss. Katie Thank you for your feedback, Vufold uses a ‘high-build’ 3 coat wood finishing system, which builds a good deal of surface protection. This is usually desirable to a customer as the durability of such a finish will far out-perform a low-medium build finish, such as an oil or stain. We purposefully add a light oak tint into the finish, which along with UV protectors will again help to reduce the maintenance associated with a timber product. Kind Regards Vufold
