“The blinds are nice quality items, though it could be argued that they are expensive for what they are. However we have found that they significantly improve the bifold doors and an essential item in our view. The only snag I found was in installation, where the supplied spacer did not place the hole in the right place, which is a nervous moment on expensive wooden doors!”

“Wasn't sure what to expect with the blinds. We have 'similar' type on the consevatory but the ones for the bifold door had different method for fitting. This seemed a bit flimsy to me and when fully open leaves the stings rather exposed (grandchild was initially facinated by these til he got the keep off message!). Lower door attachements were somewhat hit and miss and I had to DIY repair one to ensure it was secure. The blind material appears good and they do give a reasonable privacy between the rooms. Conclusion - they do the job but fitting is not simple and I feel they are somewhat overpriced.”

If you don't insert the bottom securing knot far enough through the brass bush, it can make it difficult to insert the final plastic cover / grommet, however we will take another look at the instructions and installation itself to see if this can be improved. “I absolutely love these doors. They are great quality and look amazing in our living room/dining room. I think they are excellent value for money and the best feature is being able to open the doors right out and tuck them away so you have a totally open space for summer and for parties. My only suggestion for improvement would be that I would gladly have paid extra to have the doors pre-finished rather than doing it myself. Our joiner faced a few problems, such as the opening was slightly larger than required and needed to be cutomised to fit and also we were having carpet on one side of the doors so some adjustments were needed. There was much head scratching going on. I would absolutely recommend these doors and cannot wait to do the conservatory extension with the external doors on offer.”

“The blinds were ordered at the same time as the doors and then fitted several months later once all our building work was complete. They look very good and are easy to slide up and down, although they are mostly kept closed to provide room separation.”
