The website was very detailed on all excursions we would be doing. The project was one of the best experiences of my life I feel I learnt a lot. Most definitely I enjoyed the experience the work was not forced and everyone worked at a comfortable pace the group was amazing and we had the best tour guide (Ben) who made us feel like family. The accommodation was the right balance we experienced hostels hotels and guesthouses which was the perfect mix to experience life in Thailand. The staff were very helpful. The elephant village gave me a lot of joy I gained peace of mind adapting to a different lifestyle also I enjoyed the kids daycare in Surin.

Your website was very informative I found every information I needed. The most informative were pictures and shared experiences of the previous volunteers. I found pre-departure booklet very clear and informative had no further question or I asked them via email and got the answer right away. Staff responded very well! I would really like to thank them especially Mr. Sahil for always responding in short time. I enjoyed my placement very much it was beyond expected! It was definitely worthwhile and working at the hospital was not easy I must say but the professor and student put a great effort to make me feel comfortable. Because of the language barrier I couldn`t understand what patients and the doctor were talking (in Thai language) but at the end of every case the doctors explained it to me in English so I did learn new things. Accommodation and meals both were great I slept and ate well but most important- my roomates were the best and I was happy to share my room with them. In-country staff was excellent. They were always there if we needed them. They were also very nice and friendly. The highlight of my trip was meeting new people from all around the world and get to know the health system in Thailand. Also the weekend trips were great I would recommend it to each of my friends. It was great all in all. Keep doing and organizing this programs and internships!

The website is really "catchy" I wanted to continue looking to find out what your program was about very detailed. Easily to browse to the different sections. I really like the personal testimonies/pictures of previous volunteers experiences. I really found the PreDeparture Information booklet very helpful. Furthermore the orientation that they provided to us complemented the information you had in the booklet. The staff was very helpful in answering any questions I had and the response was really quick. I knew that when I committed to volunteering abroad it was going to have an impact in my life and it was definitely a life transforming journey for me. ?The accommodation and meals were good.?They in-country staff were AMAZING!! They were very friendly supportive funny and just very helpful in any of the needs that may have come up. So many highlights during this trip!! Meeting the amazing staff in Chiang Mai meeting fellow volunteers who now I can call my friends experiencing the culture and people of beautiful country of Thailand meeting the caring supportive and loving staff of The Childrens' Home Project and most importantly the children. The children brought me so much joy and they and the staff have a very special place in my heart. I am very grateful that your organization provided a positive opportunity/experience to volunteer abroad. I have wanted to volunteer abroad for a very long time and with this experience I look forward to many more. Thank you!

The 'my account' page was easy to keep track of my chosen programme. The website is easy to use and get around to finding out information. The pre-departure booklet was brilliant. Had information about the country as well as the project which was useful and a few general phases. Staff were very helpful. I dealt with Sahil who really helped me with all my questions. I certainly enjoyed my placement the school was great the teachers and coordinator were really helpful and the children were fantastic. I had so much fun at the school. Definitely worthwhile I enjoyed every minute. I did also feel the school and coordinator really did appreciate my efforts and the kids seemed to have fun. The meal was good had options. The accommodation was good they staff were helpful and the place was kept clean. In a very good location also. The in-service support by Melissa (Country Coordinator) was great. She was very helpful supportive and made me feel comfortable. I have two highlights first has to be the kids. When I walked into the school they always were smiling waving shouting hello teacher which was so cute. Second was visiting the great wall of China it was an amazing privilege to be able to visit such a place. I loved this experience I felt it really did change me and I want to do more. The company seems well organised and helpful. Thank you for making this happen :)

Predeparture booklet was really helpful and the staff was Great. Sahil was always ready to answer my questions and always had a good and useful answer for me. He was very helpful. The past 4 months at the children's home and the week at Elephant camp have been the best time of my life. I have found so much happiness in Thailand being surrounded by these amazing smiling kids and everyone around. I've learnt a lot about myself moral values and life and opened my heart like never before. My experience is absolutely worthwhile. I have felt loved and appreciated every minute of every day since I first got there. Accommodation and meals were great. The staff were absolutely great. Very helpful and friendly. They helped and guided me the entire time when it was needed. The week at Elephant camp was absolutely amazing. What a great experience. But children's home was a highlight every single day. Just playing cooking living with the kids was very rewarding and it felt great to belong somewhere and just live life that simply and somehow be so happy.

I absolutely loved my trip was easily the best trip I have ever experienced. I wish I could do it again but I wanna go to a different country with Volunteering Solutions. The accommodation was amazing and I loved how we could choose what we eat. Also Juan is one hell of a cook. My highlight was riding an elephant as it was an amazing experience. I wanna thank you guys for letting me extend my trip. Just because of that I value you guys and your kindness. Since the last organization I volunteered with gave me no such option nor they gave me a discount after volunteering with them for 6 straight summers. so I wanna thank you for your kind hospitality and I will again volunteer with you.

I enjoyed working at the children home and definitely loved the kids. In the beginning they were very shy but after a while everyone started opening up to me which was an amazing experience. Sometimes I felt like us volunteers were not needed that much at the project though. The food was great and I loved the staff. My experience was definitely worthwhile. I really enjoyed it for the 3 weeks of being there but I would not have wanted to stay much longer than that. The highlight was definitely seeing some of the kids especially the boys who had been distant and shy for a long time finally coming up to me and suddenly trying to interact with me etc.! In my third week I could see the improvements every day and I finally actually got to practice English with the kids and interact with them rather than just playing badminton soccer etc. The accommodation was nice and the meals at the children home were delicious. I loved the food so much I would eat way too much. I really liked the volunteer house. The local staff were great and helped me out a lot. When I was sick they took me to the hospital and would ask me how I felt every day. I really felt like they cared and did everything to make me happy. Overall I am happy with the project and the trip altogether. I will recommend this program to anyone.
