“From the beginning to the end of my stay it has been a transforming and enriching experience where you can meet people from all over the world while doing social work. I took with me many friends that will last a lifetime as well as the memories we shared. I did all kinds of workshops and events that made my stay an adventure and an incredible and unforgettable time! They have volunteers that make a delicious meal every day!!! The tasks and responsibilities are challenging but help you grow as a person and as a better professional.”

“The experience in Denia was great. The people we worked with were amazing and I've had a really good time. In the apartment there were some things that didn’t work but after we told the responsible person they figured it out. The tasks we had to do were mostly aligning with the description. All together it was great and I would recommend it to interested people immediately.”

“The website was very helpful there wasn&#39 t anything that I didn&#39 t like. What I most enjoyed was how informative it was and self explanatory to the kind of work that was going to be conducted in each country. I received the booklet on the website that has all the information and all the requirements that have to be met before the departure. All of the sections were very helpful. The booklet answered about 90% of questions and concerns. I loved my program placement. It was in a very wonderful and unique area that I think only with this program I would have been exposed to it. The community had its unique distinction which gave the kids a sense of pride and joy every time they came to the summer school program. I was also very impressed with the organization that was in charge of the summer school program because it had a different way of teaching the kids new things but at the same time in a playful and enjoyable atmosphere. I think it was a unique experience that I would never forget it only took three weeks for me to get used to working with the kids and enjoying my time with them. To my understanding my time was appreciated but I believe only my coordinator from there should make that judgment. There were so many highlights but other than working with the kids what stood out the most was the diversity and the amount of people that you meet doing the same thing as you. This was the first time I volunteered in an international program so in reality I didn&#39 t know what to really expect at first I thought it would just be me by myself with only the local people which there is nothing wrong with. But once I met people from other places doing the same thing as me I was able to identify myself with them in a way that we were all striving for the same experience and always willing to help. The accommodation was great a good part of town and especially having roommates with different cultural backgrounds made the experience better. The meals weren&#39 t included which I believe some could be included into the amount the plan that is offered but I understand that it is difficult when the person is not living with the host family. I would surely recommend this organization and program to someone who is eager to explore Spain.”

“I very much enjoyed working at the program placement provided by Volunteering Solutions. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The highlight was spending time with the people I met there and being in the Mediterranean Sea. The accommodation/apartment was nice and spacious. The coordinator and local staff were extremely nice and fun to be around. I will surely recommend this program option to people.”
