“This website had a lot of information. It helped me to decide on choosing Volunteering Solutions over another volunteer organization. This website shows the different programs and what entails each one. I felt the info booklet was over the top. It had every piece of info you needed. I really liked how the languages was put in the end! The staff was very helpful. I wrote a few times asking about donations and they responded very quickly and very details. :) The staff was very helpful. I am a teacher back home so I felt that I collaborated with the teacher and worked together as a team. The highlight was working with the kids and collaborating with the teachers at my school. I also really enjoyed meeting new people within our volunteer house as well as on the tours. I felt the meals were decent. There were plenty of food for breakfast and we made our own sandwiches for lunch. Dinners were different every night. The meal accommodations was exactly what I had expected. The coordinator was very helpful and I felt if I had a problem that I would have gotten the help that I would have needed. But I didn&#39 t have any issues therefore the information that was given to us by the coordinator was adequate. Yes! I most definitely recommend this program and organization to others. In fact I am looking into a future volunteer trip as we speak.”

“I loved the look of the website especially &quot My Account&quot section. I think The pore departure booklet was very good and through. I didn&acute t miss anything and nothing was in there what I didn&acute t need. I loved my program placement very much. I loved the kids and it was really hard to say goodbye. I loved my work the teaching in other countries is awesome and playing soccer with them makes the kids feel so important. I got a lot of positive feedbacks from the teachers and the principals and I felt good after working there. The highlight of my trip was that I climbed Table Mountain a few times and loved it. The South African landscape in general is amazing and another highlight was that I good play soccer in a women league in Cape Town. Coordinator&#39 s were around all the time and they were really open towards the volunteers. Especially because they were young they fitted very well in their jobs and into the volunteer group. It was all good the accommodation was really nice and the food was also good and all wishes or suggestions were considered by the cook. YES I would surely recommend Volunteering Solutions to anyone.”

“There are so many interesting areas on your website it is hard to decide what I actually like most. However as I decided to work as a volunteer I of course especially like the section &ldquo Volunteer abroad&rdquo . I am proud to see some pictures of myself on your website and I am happy that I could make a valuable contribution to you and especially the children of my project. I also like the way your website presents the organization and the projects. You can get a good overview about all the possibilities and opportunities you have. Furthermore I like the variety of countries you offer projects in. The Pre Departure Booklet was really helpful especially to calm myself down as I have been really nervous before my departure. I had so many questions and most of them where answered by reading the booklet or sending e-mails to volunteering solutions. I really appreciated that I got an answer to my e-mail straight away. I was actually wondering whether I was the only volunteer to that time or whether I was so special that people answered me so quickly &ndash sometimes in less than 24 hours. However I definitely felt much more confident due to the personal form of address and the open and friendly way the staff presented themselves. I actually loved working at my Project!!! To do a Volunteering Project was literally the best decision I have ever made. Working with the children didn&rsquo t just give me the feeling of being needed but also helped me to get to know myself much better and to develop in a positive way. I just hope that even thought I have been there for such a short time the children will remember me. I cannot say whether they really understood what I tried to teach them but I think each impulse will have an effect no matter how marginal it is. I actually had a couple of highlights during my volunteering experience. The work with the children has fully captured me and I was simply happy to work with them. I think that I have made the best out of the short time I spent in Cape Town. I did anything you could do: I went up Table Mountain twice I did the Lions Head the Western Cape and Garden Route Tour I went Bungee Jumping Shark Cage Diving Abseiling Elephant riding Quad Biking Sky Diving AND I even had time to visit some museums. The accommodation and Meals were alright. I definitely had to get used to the circumstances but this was an experience I will never miss in my live. Especially if you take the reasonable program fee into account the accommodation and meals where more than appropriate. I cannot complain as I felt home in the Hostel straight away. As I already mentioned the local coordinating team in South Africa were amazing. I am not only staying in contact with some of them I actually made friends with them. It doesn&rsquo t matter what or who I needed there was always somebody ready to help me. Even if there weren&rsquo t any other volunteers around they didn&rsquo t mind joining me for a hike or a tour with the children. Without these people and their friendliness the whole project wouldn&rsquo t work. I would always recommend this program. As I said it was the best decision I have ever made. I actually fell in love with the country the city the people the amazing landscape the mountains the sea &hellip and of course with my children. Thanks a lot for everything!!”

“I like the clear structure of website. You get many information about your program this is really helpful. The Pre Departure Information was really good and detailed. I got some information which I didn&#39 t know before. I really enjoyed the working at my project. The teachers were nice and helped me with problems. The highlight of the program could easily be that I had the possibility to go on another school. Together with the social worker I worked with children from the townships. I taught and played with them. It was great to see how much fun they have away from their poor homes. The accommodation is nice less space but many international volunteers. 3 days per week we got a voucher for a restaurant one day we got pizza and the other 3 days we had to cook by ourselves. The coordinator was good. Every question was answered. We had a really nice coordinator so there is nothing negative to say. I would surely recommend Volunteering Solutions.”
