“I could not have hoped for a better experience in the medical clinic the doctors and nurses were very welcoming and I gained plenty of hands-on experience. My experience was absolutely worthwile I only wish I had spent more than 6 weeks. I felt very appreciated by the patients and the staff in the clinic. I feel as if I gained another family in Peru. The accommodations were great and I felt at home with my host family. The food was always delicious and plentiful. Que rico!! My coordinator was always accessible by phone or visit and even came to the house and clinic to check on me. The highlight of my trip was working in the clinic. I woke up excited to work everyday and enjoyed the company of the doctors and nurses. I learned a ton from the staff and after a while was able to apply what I had learned and assist in minor procedures or speak with the patients. My relationship with my host family was a close second to my experience in the clinic. My relationship with my host family was a close second to my experience in the clinic. I traveled to Peru to learn spanish and volunteer but I left with a new family and wonderful memories. I recommend this program and if given the opportunity would repeat my decision to use Volunteering Solutions in a heartbeat.”

“What areas did you like about our website ? It was organized-easy to allocate different areas. Volunteers feedback and testimonials were especially helpful in picking the placement. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Very helpful-gave a lot of options with respect to contact. A very explained details &amp programs. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I really loved working with the children at the Kindergarten. As the weeks progressed I felt I had a greater positive impact with the encouragement at our project supervisor. It felt very accomplishing when teaching them English. Our placement teacher as also very kind and supportive with us and the kids she set a great example to follow. Also the children were just really adorable and fun to work with. Always put a smile on my face. Accommodation and meals WOW!! I did not expect the meals to be so delicious and nutritious! It was a privilege to stay at this home stay. They spoiled us with great cooking and warm hospitality. They always taken care of us-made sure we were not cold when sleeping had enough to eat. Also the accommodation is very clean and comfortable and privacy is also respected. I loved staying here :) Coordinator I am happy to say that Jenny&#39 s work is great and she was very supportive with us. Thanks!!!! What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Going to placement and seeing the kids smile at me every morning. Teaching them English and seeing the kids grow in knowledge was also very rewarding. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES!”

“I like the photos and videos on website. The pre departure booklet was fine and it helped me to prepare myself for the project. I enjoyed working at my program placement and I also learned a lot from Peruvian culture. The highlight of my volunteering experience in Peru was to practice nursing in different culture. It is completely different from my country. My accommodation and meals were great. I like my host family. My Bed was comfortable and I could watch TV during free time. Our country coordinator also worked very well and she informed me everything about the clinical activities the way to go to the clinic and answered everything we asked. I would recommend this program and organizations to others because it is well done and it is not expensive as other organizations.”

“The website was easy to navigate My Account was excellent Past volunteers feedbacks were good and list of activities volunteers could do in Peru was some of the major things I liked on the webpage. The pre departure booklet was good and helped very much. The staff responded very quickly and in very efficient manner. I liked the placement and we learned a lot about Peruvian culture and their healthcare aspects. I learned a lot while I was there. I was able to communicate with patients and give them vaccinations. Volunteers here make an impact on the Peruvian people and show them that people from around the world are friendly and caring. The host family was super nice and accommodating and welcoming. Food was also good. Our coordinator Jenny did a great job of preparing us for the week ahead. I would recommend this program option as it is well organized affordable and welcoming.”

“The website was easy to navigate and My Account was very nice feature on the website. The pre departure booklet was very useful. I liked my program placement. It was a good experience and even there was language barrier I was still able to help doctor and nurses. At the clinic I enjoyed working with the children and mothers and seeing how the clinic run and the other highlight was the host family alot felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The accommodations were perfect! Family very nice welcoming food was very good and house was clean. Very nice family. Would enjoy staying with them again. Jenny was also very helpful. I would recommend this organization as I felt everything was organized and well planned pre departure information.”

“The description of the program pictures were very helpful and website was very easy to navigate. The pre departure booklet was great and very informative. I very much enjoyed working at my program placement. The classroom experience was amazing and the host family were my highlights from volunteering trip. I managed the class room very well got kid pay attention and that was also one of the acievement. The accommodation and meals were just amazing. The family was extreamly attention and every meal was prepared with care and love. Our coordinator Jenny was helpful as well. I felt I helped out kids and I would recommend this program to everyone.”

“The website was very easy to navigate through and My Account was also very nice. The program placement was very good and I enjoyed my time there. The highlight for me was to witness the difference between an American clinic and Cusco Clinic. All the people who work at the clinic are very dedicated and very helpful as well. We helped give physical exams helped the nurses finish their work faster. Jenny was very good and very helpful and always encouraged us. The host family of Giovanna was very wonderful. They were very nice and made us part of their family. Norma made us excellent food. It was a great experience for me and I felt like I was able to help the community and I would recommend it to everyone to come and help.”

“The website is really organized and clarifying. I also like Photos and testimonials. Pre-departure booklet was really useful and well organized. I think it&#39 s perfect just like that as it had all necessary information. Sahil was very clarifying and always responded very promptly. It was one of the strong points that made me opt for Volunteering Solutions. Jenny was also very kind. I loved my program placement. It was a very enriching experience that I hope to repeat soon and for a longer duration. I have no doubts that the kids really appreciated our action. I think I left a very positive mark. The experience was the best of my life. I loved to meet with the kids with the host family and the other volunteers. It was an amazing experience that I&#39 m looking forward to repeat with volunteering solutions soon. I loved the host family. Every person was really kind and loving.
